Production Planner / Scheduler
Planning and Scheduling in Job Shop Manufacturing environment
Will establish and maintain schedule logic, integrated cost, budget support, Risk Management, forecasting, and analysis. The successful candidate will have extensive experience using scheduling software on large-scale projects. Planner will ensure schedule integrity, manage forecasts, and maintain resource plans.
This position interacts closely with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to, Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, Project Management, Project Controls, Contracts Administration, Procurement, Expediting, Logistics, Contractors, and Vendors.
- Ability to communicate changes to various stakeholders and recommend mitigations as needed.
- Track and analyze contractor schedules and notify project team of deviations and delays.
- Build Recovery and Work-Around plans.
- Cost support includes monthly cost reporting, cost and production trends, Forecast At Completion analysis, Cost Variance analysis, funding budgets, and cash flows.
- Interface with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure data is incorporated into Project Schedules.
- Maintain project documents to support internal audits.
- Incorporate approved change orders into cost reports and schedules.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience
