JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable our client to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets.
- The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect, Design and implement Oracle DBs to protect the integrity of financial data to have 100% system availability.
- Refactor applications and migrate them from on premise data to AWS cloud.
- Monitor, Support and Analyze database performance issues and make changes to optimize performance to meet SLAs of critical Tier0/1 applications.
- Develop and review the best practices of Database code including functions, packages, procedures, and Materialized views.
- Modify, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries/packages to ensure consistent and reliable DB performance.
- Data modeling and review of existing and new schemas with Product and Development team(s).
- Support and scale high speed Enqueue/Dequeue of messages from Oracle AQs.
- Supporting applications in Data guard, RAC and GG microservices.
- Maintain security standards, Data Masking, Redaction and Fine-Grained Auditing.
- Support Disaster Recovery, on call rotation and escalations to meet SLAs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience with Oracle APEX, Grafana, OEM, Erwin and other Oracle tools
- Knowledge of database administration tasks and self-service tools
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira
- Scripting Languages Shell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Awk and perl.
- Proven experience in Vblock, Exadata and Nutanix.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL coding standards and best practices
- Experience with database internals, design and data modeling
- Ability to write efficiently and optimized PL/SQL code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
