Job Description: Project Engineer
Reports To: Director of Engineering
Position Summary:
Project Engineers will be responsible for producing Bills of Materials (BOMs), customer approval drawings, shop fabrication drawings, and DXF files for assigned projects. They will use standard company templates and formats to create necessary documents for the fabrication of boiler components and pressure vessels. Additionally, Project Engineers will collaborate with various departments to ensure project success.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting customer technical specifications.
- Review project summary sheets and related drawings for projects assigned to them from Manager or Lead Project Engineer.
- Create Bills of Materials for tubing, castings, and other shop fabrication materials required as well as ship loose materials.
- Prioritize project tasks based on fabrication schedules and material delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with shop supervisors, fellow engineers, and other departments to align with shop procedures and customer requirements.
- Ensure all documents and drawings comply with customer specifications and ASME code.
- Prepare all necessary initial drawings, BOMs, and revisions for assigned projects.
- Ensure drawing completion dates are met to avoid fabrication delays.
- Travel as needed to gather technical information from field measurements or review OEM drawings.
- Reverse-engineer components from customer samples when required.
- Assist the proposal department with necessary proposal drawings.
- Review and verify the accuracy of self-work before submitting it to Manager or Lead Project Engineer for checking and approval.
- Adhere to company quality management standards, customer specifications and ASME code requirements.
- Lead collaboration efforts with estimators, project managers, and production departments on assigned projects.
- Oversee complex projects requiring redesign and work with external Design Group as required for component replacement.
- Create comprehensive BOMs and technical drawings for major components.
- Make project assignments to other Engineers as necessary during the engineering manager's absence to ensure fabrication start dates.
- Answer questions or assist other engineers as necessary to meet shop and customer requirements in the engineering manager’s absence.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- High school diploma required; some college or an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Produces designed items, parts, and components of complex equipment, assemblies, steel frames, connections, piping, and pressure parts using knowledge of basic engineering principles, and current manufacturing or fabrication methods and procedures. Coordinate work to interface with other departments within the company and outside vendors. Perform general administrative duties to maintain an efficient working group.
III. Key Responsibilities- Proposal development and estimates of man-hours and materials.
- Design and analysis of various structures such as ductwork, frame structures, skids, piping, pressure parts, and supports.
- Generation of load diagrams for equipment/duct support/steel frame loads.
- Responsibility for ensuring the structural integrity of piping, ductwork, pressure parts and supports, and ensuring constructability of the structure.
- Site assessment, investigation and securing of information needed for an accurate development of ductwork and piping arrangements and proposals.
- Preparation of 3D analysis models for new and altered designs
- Provide analysis results in an effective form (written, marked up drawings, sketches, spreadsheets, presentation, as required) on work performed.
- Managing of subcontracting engineering work
- Preparation of technical and fabrication specifications.
- Monitor the work product of vendors, including schedule, budget, scope requirements, technical review, and deliverables.
- Functionally check prepared drawings, bill of materials, and designs, to ensure they meet applicable codes, standards, ISO instructions, and Customer's specifications for a specific project.
- Ensure project adherence to the schedule.
- Review and critically analyze customer specifications and documents to ensure design compliance highlighting areas in need of exception, clarification, or noting deviations for universal acceptance.
- Through constant communications with other department personnel and disciplines, provide continuing standards and department guideline updates to reflect advanced and state of the art design concepts.
- Participate in meetings with customer’s engineering consultants or other company affiliated units when meetings are held on issues that require direct involvement. Travel, as required, for participation in these meetings or for resolution of field-encountered issues.
- Track man-hours to provide feedback to the team and functional manager on graphics man-hour expenditures per project
- Meet periodically with the functional manager to discuss team successes and failures, new design concepts, productivity enhancements, need for additional tools, etc. to provide uniformity between teams and allow growth from the experiences of other teams
- Provide design interface with other team members, i.e., construction, shop, fabrication, purchasing, vendors, etc.
- Provide leadership and accountability, design assistance in meetings with customers (as requested by the PE/PM), as well as internal design freeze, first of a kind, potential problem analysis, and lessons learned meetings
- Archive project and Department information in the appropriate Company database (DCAP, network folders, etc.).
- Required Skills, Knowledge, And Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution is required. Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
- Five (5) years of experience with piping, ductwork, pressure part, or equivalent design
- Working knowledge of ASME BPVC Section I, Section XIII, and B31.1/B31.3
- Working knowledge of weld design per AWS D1.1/D1.3 and ASME Section IX
- Pro experience
- AutoPIPE or Caesar experience
- ANSYS or other FEA experience is a plus.
- 3D modeling/drafting tools such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Plant 3D, Inventor, Creo experience is a plus
- Navisworks experience (including model integration, clash checks, etc.)
- Experience reading boiler general arrangements, detail drawings, piping layouts, pipe isometric drawings, and pipe support details, P&IDs is required.
- Must be self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills and data manipulation including proficiency in use of Word and Excel
- Must be organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to requests

Job Title: Safety Specialist / Manager– Power Plant Services (Refractory, Insulation, Scaffolding)
Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Safety Specialist / Manager to join our team and oversee safety practices for power plant services, specifically focusing on refractory, insulation, and scaffolding projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Management:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to power plant services, including refractory, insulation, and scaffolding.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Accountable for applying expertise and judgement, and identifying credit risks and mitigants, as well as trends in financial institutions’ (e.g., banks, broker-dealers, etc.) capital adequacy, profitability, asset quality, and liquidity management.

- We are looking for a dynamic commercial contract attorney who is a quick thinker and strong manager to own all aspects of initial contract redlining and review completed by the contracts team within the Corporate Procurement Services department.
- This hire will lead a team of paralegals and partner closely with our General Counsel's office to review, revise, and improve our 3rd party vendor contracts across the enterprise, including master agreements, proofs of concept, SOWs, NDAs, and other related documents, demonstrating guidance and templates provided by Legal.
- Proven experience and comfort handling high volumes of contract review under tight timelines required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate procurement contracts in compliance with legal-set policies and guidelines and raising to SMEs and Legal as appropriate
- Own the contract management process and effectively manage pipeline, including managing contract lifecycle, renewals, amendments, notices, and terminations, as well as proper storage and organization of contracts
- Training and development of contracts team to ensure consistent handling of contracting matters, updating policies and procedures owned by Corporate Procurement Services, where necessary, to achieve standard processes
- Collaborate with Category Managers, Purchasing Operations and other SMEs involved in procurement process in order to proactively identify and implement operational improvements and improve cycle times

The Director Oracle Database Engineering team is responsible for managing public and private cloud databases and responsible for the design, build, and operational aspects of the database.
The Director Oracle Database Engineering is responsible for leading the database team and will be responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and operations of database solutions. You and your team will engage with the infrastructure and application development teams and support the adoption of cloud database solutions and provide a clear path to migrate from the private cloud to the public cloud.

- Experience working with diverse technologies, teams and thorough understandings of hardware and software stacks.
- Proficiency in mission critical IT platform support.
- Understanding of IT service risk assessment process and IT Service high availability/recovery design principles.
- Consistent track record for min 8 years in IT with experience supporting platforms.
- Working knowledge of 3 tier architecture and application security,
- Hands-on Experience and/or expertise in operating systems (Red hat, Windows, z/OS), virtualization (VMWARE, OpenShift), networking (CISCO) storage (EMC, NetApp)
- Technical understanding of middleware (Tomcat, WebSphere), messaging (MQ / Kafka), DB technologies (Oracle, DB2).
- Knowledge of Cloud service offerings (AWS, Azure).
- Ability to work across teams to create partnerships that achieve organization goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
- Ability to work in dynamic projects with ever evolving requirements.
